Dorso-oil in a nice small bottle of 10 ml. The bottle dispenses small drops.
Two uses for Dorso oil; to soften and colour with oil pastels on parchment paper and it also softens hardened gilding wax.
To use Dorso oil with your oil pastels; rub the pastel crayon on your parchment paper then add a drop or two of Dorso oil to a soft cloth or cotton swab and rub onto the pastel colours on the paper. The Dorso oil will soften the oils in the pastels making it easier to spread the colour evenly without lines or clumps. You can rub in a circular motion or in a back and forth motion. It can be used to blend the edges of colours to create an ombre effect.
Another use we found with the Dorso oil is to soften the wax in the Cosmic Shimmer gilding wax when it becomes dry or hardened. Add up to 4 drops into the jar of wax and let it sit. After a few hours the wax will be soft again.
